Manildra Milling Corporation develops ingredients for so many of the food items we enjoy. Specializing primarily in starches, proteins, and gluten they are innovating the raw ingredients industry.
As a gluten plant producer, Manildra Milling Corp. was experiencing leaks even after another roofing company patched the roof a year earlier. It was time they started getting bids from other roofing companies to fix the leaks once and for all. The second roofing company told them that a single ply membrane wouldn’t work for their roof because the protrusions and vents were too obstructive. It was a complicated project with a lot of obstacles so we don’t fault them for making that recommendation, however, complicated roofs have never deterred us from the work. Even with all the nuances, we knew that our products could seal their roof and so we proposed to seal the entire roof with Triton. Existing Roof Type: EPDM Rubber Membrane
Patching on flat roofs can be very ineffective. Manildra was serious about stopping leaks because not many people like gluten to begin with, not to mention wet gluten! Once a flat roof starts leaking in various locations, it’s a sign that the roof has passed its expected service life. Manildra’s roof was prepped with pressure cleaning to loosen the gluten and dirt exposure before we applied a coat of TritoFlex. In a matter of 8 days we were able to stop the leaks into their plant and set them up with a 15 year warranty. Roof Restored! Some people are gluten free, some gluten plants are leak free 😉
In about 8 business days we were able to completely coat the roof and stop their leaks. We estimate that we were able to save them about 41% over the cost of replacing their roof and set them up with a 15-year labor and materials warranty.
